Head of HR

We are seeking a people focused, driven and approachable Head of HR to manage the HR Function in its support of our operational objectives. Ensuring effective planning, implementation and delivery of; Talent Identification and Recruitment; Talent Management and Development; Associate Welfare and HR Management; whilst at the same time promoting a positive culture aligned to Procure4 values. 

Some of the key responsibilities will be;

HR Leadership:

  • Ambassador for the HR function and company values; advise, guide, influence and coach all P4 employees on policy, process, procedures and employment law, disciplinary, grievance issues and performance management
  • Developing the functional KPI’s with the CFO annually to provide and cascade clarity of focus to reports and the wider organization across on HR matters

Talent Identification & Recruitment:

  • Determine overall skill and capacity requirements with the Board and develop annual recruitment plan with the Recruitment Manager
  • Review recruitment strategy including candidate identification, engagement and nurturing and support continuous improvement.
  • Develop and refine role profiles to focus recruitment & training activities

Training & Development:

  • Facilitate the development and smooth running of the P4 Review process whilst providing support and advice to all P4 Partners
  • Identify and communicate competency gaps with Operational leaders, highlighting training theme’s arising, implementing training processes and managing delivery
  • Identify core training vehicles to satisfy underlying functional needs and competency development
  • Establish and review performance improvement to test ROI from training investment

Policies and Procedures:

  • Working with the CFO and external agencies, identify and implement areas of HR policy required to ensure Procure4 remains compliant with legal changes & in line with market trends, ensuring clear & timely communication to all
  • Support the Board in end to end management of personnel issues

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate integrity, emotional intelligence, empathy and have the ability to quickly develop supportive and strong working relationships with the whole of the P4 community.

You will be of graduate calibre, ideally with full CIPD qualifications. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate being a hands on HR Manager with a real can-do attitude. You will demonstrate natural leadership traits, clear and confident communication and show the flexibility to be a true team player.
